Free admission late in the day does not guarantee time for animal activities. Sangha Farm's overall hours differ from the Experience Ranch's closing time. Choose your arrival time according to whether your child's priority is seeing animals or joining a making activity.

Key point

Check when the Experience Ranch and booked activities finish, then make room beforehand for meals and handwashing.

What to remember

  • Overall hours are 09:30 to 21:00; the Experience Ranch opens 09:30 to 18:00 and activity classrooms 10:00 to 18:00.
  • Standard admission is KRW 9,000 for adults and KRW 6,000 for children ages 37 months to 12 years.
  • Outside food is restricted, with an exception for baby food.

The farm and Experience Ranch close at different times

The address is 11-23 Sanghanongwon-gil, Sangha-myeon, Gochang-gun. The farm operates year-round, 09:30 to 21:00, but the Experience Ranch opens 09:30 to 18:00 and activity classrooms 10:00 to 18:00. Official free entry after 17:00 refers to admission to the farm. Arriving late does not extend ranch or activity hours.

Admission and the 36-month boundary

Adult admission is KRW 9,000; ages 37 months to 12 years and adults 70 and over pay KRW 6,000. The official table lists free entry for children under 36 months, leaving the price for a child exactly 36 months old unclear. Ask how the birth date is applied before budgeting. Fees, age eligibility, and availability for making activities must be checked separately for the chosen program.

For animal watching, plan one stretch around lunchtime

After entering the farm, watch the animals, wash your hands, then have a meal or snack. If you have booked a making activity, leave travel time around its start rather than tightly packing animal visits and a long meal between commitments. Current minimum ages and prices for individual programs remain unconfirmed. Instead of promising sausage or cheese making, keep animal watching as an alternative if your child cannot join a program.

Baby food is an exception, not permission for all outside snacks

Outside food is restricted, with an exception for baby food. Farmers' Cafe Sangha and Sangha Kitchen are listed as open 09:30 to 18:00, and the Farm Restaurant 11:00 to 21:00. Sangha Kitchen is marked closed in July and August, so do not assume summer service. Outside feed for animals is also restricted. This is not an activity where children share bread or snacks brought from home with the animals.

Wash hands first after leaving the animal area

Wash your hands with soap and running water as soon as you leave an animal exhibit. Visitors may touch the surrounding environment even without touching an animal. Do not eat or drink in animal areas, and help young children wash their hands. This is general prevention advice for animal exhibits, not an assessment of Sangha Farm's hygiene.

Watching can be enough

If your child does not want to approach an animal, drop feeding from the plan. Watching ears, movement, and eating from outside the fence can be the purpose of the visit. Shorten outdoor observation in rain; without a booked activity, it is fine to switch to a meal-only outing. Specific stroller rental, nursing room, and handwashing locations remain unconfirmed. If you need one of these facilities, contact the farm before visiting.
