Saessak Nuri Hall and the Children's Science Museum have different age requirements and tickets. Choose where to start based on whether you are visiting with one young child or with school-age siblings too. The prices and ages below come from public guidance, but individual booking and closure rules remain unconfirmed and need checking before you book.
Key point
Choose one Saessak Nuri Hall session for a young child; for siblings of different ages, start with the Children's Science Museum or permanent exhibitions they can visit together.
What to remember
- Saessak Nuri Hall is primarily for ages 13 months to 6 years, accompanied by a guardian.
- Standard Children's Science Museum admission is KRW 2,000 each for adults, youths, and young children.
- The combined permanent-exhibition ticket covers the permanent halls and Children's Science Museum, not the same offering as Saessak Nuri Hall.
The address and three different spaces
The address is 59 Dongbusangwangwang 6-ro, Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan. The permanent halls cover automobiles, aerospace, ships, energy, and medical science; the Children's Science Museum is a separate play-based exhibition building. Both are listed as open 09:30 to 17:30. Saessak Nuri Hall is a space for young children on the main building's first floor.
Saessak Nuri Hall uses fixed sessions
Saessak Nuri Hall lists eligibility as ages 13 months to 6 years with a guardian. Sessions run 10:00 to 11:30, 12:00 to 13:30, 14:00 to 15:30, and 16:00 to 17:30. Standard admission is KRW 1,000 each for children and adults. Do not expect the ending time to move because you arrive late. Rules for accompanying infants under 13 months and remaining onsite places require separate confirmation.
Choose the Children's Science Museum alone or a combined ticket
Standard Children's Science Museum admission is KRW 2,000 each for adults, youths, and young children. The combined ticket, covering both permanent halls and the Children's Science Museum, costs KRW 4,000 for adults, KRW 3,000 for youths, and KRW 2,000 for young children. Permanent halls alone cost KRW 3,000 for adults and KRW 2,000 for youths; young children enter free. Check detailed age boundaries and documentation for discounts or exemptions separately from the standard price table.
One Saessak Nuri Hall session can be enough for a first visit
With one young child, choose a session that does not overlap a meal. Rest briefly afterward, then add another hall if your child wants more time to play. With elementary-school siblings, do not assume everyone can enter Saessak Nuri Hall together; make the Children's Science Museum or permanent exhibits your shared plan. A price difference does not oblige you to cover all three spaces.
Keep general exhibits as an alternative to rides
A child interested in machines or vehicles can choose one permanent-exhibition theme first. Height restrictions and reservation rules for individual rides are not covered here. Rather than making one ride the sole purpose of the day, have a related exhibition ready as an alternative if your child cannot ride.
What remains to check before buying
Individual online ticket release times, onsite allocations, and closures on your date remain unconfirmed. If you cannot select your date and session at the official online ticket office, call 1422-23. If a nursing room or stroller is essential, or you are using public transport, also establish which facilities are available and how to get from the stop to the entrance.
